Johnson's still

Johnson's still, originally uploaded by Matthew Watkins.

When he went over to Johnson's still burning was on his mind.
Burning for his brother Jeb, burning it for Ma'.
More than anything burning it because he needed a drink.

Fingerpainted on an iphone in brushes app while waiting for my iPad to find it's way through the volcanic ash of the north Atlantic.

As a child he had loathed and resented taking lessons. But now he had to admit that it was pretty hip playing the Boogey Woogey Buglemobile for Company B.

Iphonography and the automobile
I am currently curating a photography show or "Iphonography" at the daddario.it showroom in Milan. The name of the event will be "Iphonography and the automobile". The event is designed to showcase the work of professional and amateur photographers that are pushing the frontiers of digital photography through the use of the iphone and it's apps. Although it is not the primary focus I am likely to include a smattering of Iphone fingerpainting and video associated with the automobile. It is scheduled to open for April 8th 2010, for three weeks.

If you would like to participate please add your work to
http://www.flickr.com/groups/iphonography-and-the-automobile/
Thanks

Giant snail

Simply put, there is no faster way to cross the great plains with a full load than on a giant snail with a brisk breeze on your back.
